Dimitri De Boer

Programme Director for Asia and Chief Representative for China, ClientEarth.

Dimitri de Boer is leads a team of legal experts to advance environmental governance and rule of law in China, cooperating with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Supreme People’s Court, and Supreme People’s Procuratorate. He is also Team Leader of the EU – China Environment Project, advisor to the BRI International Green Development Coalition (BRIGC), and special advisor to CCICED, China's top international advisory body on environment and development.

With outstanding spoken and written Chinese skills, Dimitri has cooperated with Chinese central and local-level government counterparts from 2003 to date on environmental policy and law, energy and climate change.
