Dr. Emilia Moreno Ruiz has been focusing her career on data for sustainability metrics for the past 15 years, most of them working for the ecoinvent association, where she is today the Chief Technical Officer. Emilia is responsible for the database strategy and leads the database team in charge of the developments, content creation, maintenance and publication of the ecoinvent database. She also oversees the research and development efforts around the database. Emilia holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Sevilla, and a Master in Management and Sustainable Development from the French ISEADD.
