Isabella Freire

Isabella has 20 years of experience in sustainability in the agribusiness sector, negotiating and establishing cross-sector partnerships, strategic planning, responsible sourcing of agricultural commodities, policy development and analysis, project design and management, standards development and process facilitation. She joined Proforest in 2011 and established the regional office in Brazil. Isabella also co-leads the Transparency and Traceability Task Force at the Brazilian Coalition on Climate, Forests and Agriculture. Before joining Proforest, Isabella worked at WWF-UK and Conservation International. She holds a master's degree in Environmental Policy from Cambridge University and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Brasilia. She speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish and Hungarian.
